Cost: FREE Description: Our stories celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of innovative Italian educator Gianni Rodari. His Grammar of Fantasy, translated by folklorist Jack Zipes, encourages imagination in education. We are also cognizant that Einstein said: “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” And we believe that too often those most imaginative and creative are dismissed by dominant culture as “crazy” or “down and out.” 6:00 p.m. RECEPTION and INFORMATION TABLING with STORY ARTS MN, BLACK STORYTELLERS ALLIANCE, PLYMOUTH STROBEL DROP-IN, PLYMOUTH OUTREACH, and other organizations reflecting Plymouth Church’s extensive social justice outreach in areas of mental health, racism, homelessness, gun violence, environment, education and more.
